mICHAEL dEVEREUX - iRISH aRTIST
I am an artist, printmaker, photographer and scientist currently based in Glasgow Scotland. My work reflects my interest in science, mathematics and the natural world. I have worked in various different art mediums in the last 20 years. I have experimented with creating generative art before I even knew generative art was a medium. My background is physics and mathematics and these subjects exposed me to many fascinating phenomena which when abstracted in the correct way yield interesting images.
I have experimented extensively with various printmaking techniques and many of my prints originate from an algorithms or visualisation of physical and mathematical phenomena. Since discovering the vast generative art resources and amazing community in the last year, I am very excited to focus on generating art in this amazing medium.
